Kevin Fletcher – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Kevin A. Fletcher recently served as Executive Director for Audubon International, working there for the past ten years. Prior to this, he served as Vice President for a sustainable business management consulting firm and as Editor and Board member for the Corporate Environmental Strategy Journal. He was a faculty member of Rensselaer’s Lally School of Management & Technology and the Environmental Management & Policy Program and worked as an Adjunct Professor at Skidmore College, St. Rose College, and Siena College. He holds a B.S. in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo, an M.S. in Environmental Management and Ph.D. in Management (Sustainable Business) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is co-author of Environmental Management & Business Strategyand has been published in a wide variety of books, professional journals, and peer-review journals. He was also recently included among Golf Magazine’s “Top 40 Most Influential People Under 40” for his work in promoting sustainable golf. Kevin is a driving force behind e-parusa V2 and is ready to help the US Golf industry make a statement to the world regarding its commitment to sustainability.

 

Terry Muir - e-par Founder and President

e-par founder Terry Muir is widely regarded as a leading authority on golf facility environmental sustainability and best practice. Formerly an Environmental Specialist with the EPA, Terry has dedicated his career to improving management practices in golf and sustaining the industry through systems based environmental management.

Terry has completed golf course environmental training programs at Harvard University, he has a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Technology and he has delivered lectures around the globe on the benefits and advantages of sound environmental management for golf. Terry’s focus is to promote and improve golf’s brand. Targeting not only environmental, but also economic sustainability, Terry’s mission is to demonstrate that effective environmental management will not only protect, conserve and enhance the natural environment, but also save golf facilities money - An expression he likes to call natural capitalism.

 

Ben Gibson - Director of Environmental Services

With a background in Federal government and policy reform, Ben Gibson is an experienced environmental scientist that has trained, audited and certified facilities and their staff at hundreds of golf courses.

Along with Terry, Ben has been a driver of the development of the e-par EMS for the USA and integral in the development of e-par’s key online animated environmental training program, e-par TEE (www.epartee.com).

Ben has studied environmental science and business development and is excited about the potential the golf industry has to promote its green credentials and establish a reputation as being leaders in environmental stewardship.
